The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) is a national charitable organization for Catholic women over the age of 18. Founded in 1903 by the Knights of Columbus, we have flourished under our motto of "Unity and Chairty." Our dedication to Church and country has evolved through the years to encompass local, state, national and global concerns. We are one of the largest organizations of Catholic women in the world.
Court Daughters of St. Elizabeth of Hungary #2584, was chartered on December 10, 2006, thanks to the pioneering of our first Regent, Rebecca A. Schmidt. December 11, 2011, Court 2584 celebrated their 5 year anniversary with a Corporate Communion followed by a luncheon celebration. Women are always welcome to join the CDA Daughters of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Court 2584.
Court Daughters of St. Elizabeth of Hungary #2584, meets the third Tuesday of each month September through May. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and usually last one hour followed by a Court social. The social is always the hightlight of the meeting giving everyone an opportunity to visit and "catchup" with happenings since the last month.
Catholic women ages 18+ are always welcome to join. Contact Court Regent Sandra Cantu at [email protected] and/or 361-562-1027
"A Catholic Daughter is charity in action. She offers her time and talents for
the betterment of mankind. She gives rather than receives and expects no
'bouquets' for her charitable deeds while doing the work of
her Divine Master through His Blessed Mother."
